History
Our organization was founded in 2000. Its founder is Georgi Zarkov Georgiev Sensei. Over the years we have always maintained the way of good understanding and cooperated with all other Aikido groups in Bulgaria and overseas, in the spirit of Aiki. In the year 2000, a small group led by G. Zarkov Sensei visited Italy to participate in the seminar of Saito Morihiro Shihan organized by Takemusu Aikido Association Italy and his student P. N. Corallini Shihan which was the breaking point of our choice to continue with the traditional form of Aikido taught in Iwama at the last years of O'Sensei Morihei Ueshiba. Parallel with that, we kept strongly our relationship with Aikikai Hombu Dojo headquarters in Tokyo, represented by 3rd Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba.
In present days we continue to teach and transfer Aikido to the young generations in a way to preserve this amazing martial art in the spirit of old traditions and ethics.
